開工迎接新計畫～～
紐約的週一早上，用藍色點綴一週的開始～
抵達這裏已超過一週，生日過了，時差也過了，開始啟動工作度假模式，回覆多日未回的email，並且展開了與ELLE合作的新計劃，待正式上線再跟你們分享更多。
先前有些朋友詢問我有關行事曆和時間規劃，例如我在台北和在紐約的時間規劃就略有不同，但絕對都需要好的管理方式，才能讓生活過得更有效率。除了將行程規劃在Google calendar之外，還是很需要手寫的To do list，因為超級喜歡事情做完後，狠狠將那一列槓掉的快感 ！這可是手機滑過delete無法取代的^o^。在台北時因為事情多，我通常使用Daily planner（日誌）來記錄公私大小事;在美國時事情相對單純，weekly planner（週誌）便綽綽有餘，而且一眼可看完本週重要記事和待辦事宜，蠻方便的。也因為需求時常在改變（還有風格喜好），使用線上下載免費的行事曆有一段時間了，可以依自己的需求下載不同的格式和風格，再用印表機印出就好囉。時不時改變行事曆的樣貌，覺得可以轉換工作心情，工作也變得有趣多了。

#過節日學英文 重陽節 & 國慶日
昨天是10月9日，剛好是農曆9月9日，剛好也是所謂的九九重陽節，九九重陽節的英文就是Double Ninth Festival。
今天是10月10日，也就剛好是台灣的國慶日，國慶日英文叫做National Day，但是因為日期剛好是10月10日，所以也稱為Double Tenth Day。

重陽節有一些習俗，你昨天有去做這些事情嗎？
登高：climb a high mountain
喝菊花酒：drink some chrysanthemum liquor
佩茱萸：wear the zhuyu plant
祭祖：visit the graves of the ancestors
而且在香港以及澳門，重陽節是公定假日（public holiday）唷! 所以今天10月10日，他們卻和台灣一起放假，就是因為昨天重陽節是在周日，所以今天補假（deferred day, observed day, substitute holiday）唷!
每年國慶日在總統府（Office of the President）前都會舉辦升旗典禮（flag raising ceremony）以及國慶慶祝大會（Double Tenth Day Celebration），其中大家會一起唱國歌（National Anthem），晚上的時候也會施放國慶煙火（fireworks displays）。
在中華人民共和國政府，10月10日也會聚集在天安門廣場紀念辛亥革命（Xinhai Revolution）。
